What is a shaved hood worth?

I just shaved the hood on my green X2 hull, and I am considering doing the same on my other X2 hull. What do you think a properly shaved hood is worth? I would redirect the air and water passages, and do all the filling with microbeads/resin (no bondo).

I'm trying to see if it would be worth doing.

If you're going to do it to make money I don't believe it would be very profitable for you. It is very simple and many people would probably just buy a stock hood for cheap and do the work theirselves. The X2 crowd is natorious for being do-it-yourselvers and pinching pennies. The only reason aftermarket shaved hoods sell for so much is they are made to be lighter and stronger than stock, and they're new.
