i let my brother borrow my old water ski ones and haven't seen them since. I think it is just time to get a new pair. Anyone care to share what they ride in?

I don't use any since I have the odi rogue grips, but if you must, water ski gloves are the best to get and won't break down like slippery and jet pilot.

I agree. I have ODI grips on my one ski and never need to wear gloves due to discomfort, only due to cold water in the spring and fall.

I have some cheesy grips on my other ski and those tend to mash my hands up after a while.

I would just buy the ODI grips... cheaper than gloves and I don't like the feel of gloves in general.

When I do wear gloves, I have a set of the Jet pilots.

Used the same pair of SLippery's for years, only had a couple small tears in them. I switched to some Jet Pilots, we'll see how they hold up. i also use ODI grips, but I like having a lot of grip when I ride.

only gloves i could get to stay together are some wakeboard gloves i found at a local marina. their called "winning edge" and have big velcro straps you wrap all the way around your wrists for support. very tough and nice to the wrists.

edit added- DONT EVER WEAR MECHANIX GLOVES THEY GET SLICK WHEN WET AND WILL F**k UP YOUR HANDS!!! from my personal experience.

I like to wear thick black leather gloves. They are great because they don't leave finger prints and the blackness matches the rest of my assassian outfit quite nicely.

I wear water ski gloves. I got my at West Marine in the bargin section for $20 years ago, and they are just starting to show some holes. MX gloves would work the same but they have a lot of unnecessary padding. I doubt your going to punch a tree in the surf, btu I suppose stranger things have happened.

:haha:

you haven't riden Lake Erie during a wind storm... LOL... all the sunken trees that wash down the rivers after the snow melts and just sit on the lake bottom all get stirred up when we get decent waves (30 - 40+ mph winds) 10-12+ foot waves.

Last year I saw an entire tree float by :bigeyes2:
