Super Jet What from a sn fits a rn superjet??

Buildin up a back stock of SJ parts for a Matrix hull. What from a squarenose will fit a roundnose hull??

I know the rideplate will, but are the intake grates the same?

Is the gas tank the same?

Steering cable the same?

What else is the same?

the late model mid shafts were the same.. i believe that most all of it is usable on the roundie..

if you have a 701 its the same midshaft the earlyer 650 had smaller shafts

Most of the stuff interchanges. Here is some that doesn't:

hood hooks - both hull and hood side
waterbox (although I have seen SN waterbox in a RN and vice versa)
long exhaust hose - is about 1/2 larger diameter on the RN
steering cable on SN has slightly less throw, depending on how you set it up it might not matter
throttle cables - close enough
as already mentioned the early SN midshaft is smaller than RN/701 SN
ride plates are technically not the same. The SN mounts with six 6mmx1.0 bolts and the RN mounts with four 8mmx1.25. A drill bit will quickly enlarge the holes in a SN ride plate to be used on a RN.
