Scuppers suck. I sank my ski more than i would have liked to because I ended up to far from it. I plugged my scupper and it was upside down this weekend with no sinkage. If my scupper had been in i would have been towed in.

For some reason when I went to run the program, the measurements are all off... meaning everything in Pro-E is correct an`d all the tooling is right but the machine think the 3.3x3.3" stock is the same as 5x5" stock. So there was all sort of shiot going on. ANd Im trying to get at least one done before I change jobs in a couple weeks.

The only problem with my scupper is that my tools end up at the bottom of Lake Erie.

indeed
thus creating the commonly used cleveland term
scupper bait
tools, bolts, nuts

other than that i would say i love my scuppers
the ratio to water out vs. water in is a no brainer for me

and in 5+ yrs i think i have only sunk once r/t scupper. and it was not fully to blame

that versa plug looks interesting, although it wouldnt help with not letting the air out and sinking when its flipped over. Scuppers are cool but there are certain conditions in surf riding when you should just plug them as long as your bilges are working decent.

wydopen...us regular smucks fall or bail and when your in over head surf,im sorry your not holding on to it,and even riding with a crew of 5,when your ski is caught up in the whitewater, its going to take on water and not start, and if your riding with a few space cadets..........sink
