That's the GP ski start. The guy who timed the band perfectly (or maybe a touch early, lol) was Jimmy Wilson. Me, my brother and Tim Judge built that ski from the ground up two weeks before WFs. It is the nastiest thing we have ever built. All I can say is, you have to be one heck of an athlete to race one of those things because I couldn't go 10 laps on that thing in race chop to save my life.

Nah, it was a clean pass. Macc usually doesn't need to nudge, lol. He is just that good. Jimmy rode well, but he now understands that when you get to the point that we have these skis running now, you have to be in phenomenal shape. Thankfully, that is something he can fix.

Great WF this year! I was so stoked for Chris McCluggage, he cleaned house in ski this year, winning overall titles both Saturday and Sunday, and nothing fell into his lap, he earned it. We hear Chris's name often when it comes to water craft racing but the annoucers said the last time Chris won a title in ski class was in 1995, so there was a whopping 18 yr gap between his wins in Ski class!
