Whats the difference between the two? Is there any difference other than price? Is West Systems stronger, since it’s almost twice as expensive or are you just paying for a name brand?

I will tell you this much the West System cures about twice as fast as the US composites stuff does.

we're using west systems epoxy on some tom21 footholds on a superjet.I hope it's good stuff or at least we're gonna find out.Also had to epoxy the nuts in the fiberglass for the pump.Seems to cure up pretty good just sanded the little bit of epoxy work on the pump bolt so we will see.

I just finish reinforced my hull great stuff and cheaper , I will never use anything else

I've used both... can't say I noticed much difference aside from the smell, and the fact that the west is a little more viscous at the same temp.

No it wasn't fast cure hardener in the West System, you only use that in the winter here,I have just noticed that the US comp stuff takes signifigantly longer to cure.

90 plus heat here and it was not sticky after about 3 hours.The west system stuff
