WDK 155 mm Pump Shoe

I have put the WDK 155 pump shoe and 155 pump with 12~18 Solas prop in to my SJ with 85mm cylinder with Power valves B pipe and TL ignition but yesterday I test ride the ski it wasn't going very well it feels very heavy to drive, What can I do? Change to a smaller pitch prop? Or bore the nozzle biger? Anyone have a similer set up please give me any suggestion? Thank you,

he would be the best person to answer a question like this and would be able to customize an impeller specifically for your application.

is your engine revving to high and the ski not moving? or does the engine seem loaded down and the ski not moving much?

what impeller is in it now?

ditch the 155. Loads the motor up too much. A 144 is more than enough to handle what you have. I don't know of any 2 cylinder motors that can over power anything over a 145mm mag. I even think the 148 is a tad too big

Read between the lines, lol

In Solas I would say not highjer than 11/14 with 85mm nozzle. Is your intake gullet on the hull at least 155mm wide, otherwise you are starving the pump.

The intake area on the hull is bigger then 155mm I didn't feel the pump is starving it was feel very heavy take few sec to pick up the speed and when the pump out the water the engine will rev up no problem so I guess might need smaller pitch prop don't know what size of nozzle from this Yamaha GP1200's 155 pump

As far as I can remember the GP1300r gets best top speed with a 87mm nozzle, so you mighty need to go bigger that that. From your explanation, you need lower pitch prop and/or larger nozzle.
