I just replaced a bendix and had this same question. I couldn't find the washer on any parts diagrams either. I believe it comes with the new bendix

I would say its just a thrust washer to keep the bendix from pushing into the aluminum cover. Find a washer close to the same size and put one in.

X2 I dont see any reason why that wouldnt work. Its a simple washer, nothing fancy!

They sell salvaged, inspected and cleaned bendix's with the washer for $50.

John is going to postal mail one washer and fed-ex the bendix with a second washer.
