no help needed (unless you want to)

ok, start the engine;starts good
warm it up in the wake zone...running ok.
signal to friends; meet you @ the beach....on my way
my 750SX is cutting chops; no problems
after it gets warms; notice hesitation (seems like lack of:fuel )
progressively getting worse

electrical /or fuel?

that's where I'm at, any help is appreciated :439:

Pull the spark plug caps off and trim the wires back about 1/4 inch and let us know what it does after that.

Sounds like your stator to me. I used to have a kawi 750 with the exact symptoms. For months I messed with the carbs and it turned out to be the stator. For some reason when they are going bad they work well when they're cold but after the coils warm up they start giving you problems. The dummy test method (easy)-- After Dark, run your ski on water until engine is warm. pull plugs, put them back in the caps and lay them on your head and crank to check your spark color. Both orange or 1 orange and 1 blue is bad. Both blue is good. This is only the dummy test to point you in the right direction. To be sure have somene who knows what there doing look at it.

I've heard those are a weak components on the small pin engines.

If I were a gambling man, all signs are pointing to stator.

Of course, I'll try the simplest things first, like cutting back the plug wires, check wiring, check for exhaust leaks.

Pretty much anytime I have had weird ignition issues with a 750 it turned out to be the stator. The problem is it acts very much like a carb related problem,it is difficult to differentiate between the two on that particular engine, the best thing to do is swap in a known good stator.
