Just curious about how they do business.

I made an order early yesterday morning and haven't received an order confirmation or shipping information - or anything at all saying I made an order.

Is that normal for these guys? I've never ordered from them before.

It was a single part. Just a throttle drum for my Mikuni.

I've made a couple orders in the past month and am very pleased with the service. I think both of my orders shipped within 24 hours of placing them. I did receive email confirmation, maybe yours is going to your spam folder?

Also whenever I have called or emailed for advice they were very helpful.

I checked my spam folder and haven't received anything.

I sent them an email request this morning asking whats up, hopefully they respond soon.

wamiltons is a decent shop and a decent guy...unfortunally he keeps hardly anything in stock.....well everytime i go there he does not have anything i need right then.....but a good guy none the less

I have ordered majority of all my parts from Wammer. You normally will receive a tracking number from the Shipper directly after your product ships out. If you don't check your spam filter and if all else fails call Wammer and he will provide that too you. Down to earth guy that will help you out with anything.

Ugh. It's been 48 hours and still nothing. I was hoping to have the part early next week. Doesn't look like thats going to happen now. :(

Is that normal?

Has anyone else ordered from Wamiltons and had no response after 48 hours?

I'm in the same boat. I love web ordering.
However, when it's a part that I have to have by a certain date, I pick up the phone.

But when you post up that you have not gotten any confirmation, why not pick up the phone "Hey Wamiltons, did you get my online order? "Oh, you did not, oh, ok, that makes sense, Sure, I would love to give you the order over the phone, I need the best damn ski you can build me"

It is not that hard.

Lol, I agree.

I did send a follow up mailing to them though, via the website. Didn't get a response.

Of course, I forgot my phone at home today. Go figure. :p I wonder if he works on Saturday? :)
