seeing that makes me think that a "rickter" shouldn't be called a back flip, it's more of a full gainer... back on topic.

A full gainer is an acrobatic move, typically performed from a diving board into water. A full gainer is a full backflip that is completed while moving forwards. For example, a diver would jump off the board in the forward position, rotate his or her legs backwards and flip over. A half gainer involves the same motion, except the ending position is with the heads downwards. Unlike full gainers, half gainers are only performed by divers, as landing on one's head on solid ground can be fatal
