Super Jet Using 2 single 44's as duals?

Look on the lower flange area for the ID stamp, if they have the same #and letter then the internal circuitry should be the same and as long ad they werent modified you should be able to couple them

Unless you are 100% positive they are the same model (see model stamp that wanderer1 explained), don't do it.

Good advice here. You will also probably have to replace one of the shafts to an a/m extended shaft to be able to couple them as well. Then buy coupler as well. I would just sell them and get a set of oem44's/mani set for about the same price as 2 singles sell for and you will be better off.

Thats exactly what I noticed tonight...the one would need a new shaft. I actually have 2 singles kicking around which appear to be stamped the same.

Would it be worth while to swap shafts and get a coupler or is it better off to get a set of oem 44's. Is performance gonna be the same if they can be setup properly. Tryimg to just use what I got but if its really not worth it than I wont bother.

Plans to use them on a boyesen intake.

Both carbs are stamped 61x 03

Yours are prolly 4 hole circuit carbs vs an oem 44 set are 3 hole...aftermarket carbs are 4 hole....look inside the bottom of yours , are there 4 tiny holes before the butterfly ? XScream set up a pair of 4 hole oem singles that I have and they rip.
