Universal Studios Orlando ski show

No he will not!
Just got word that Water Ski Shows Inc. will be having a show @ USO this summer. Show runs from June 15-Aug 18 with a possible extension through Labor Day, rehearsals start on June 1. This will be an extreme ski show with jet skiing as one of the acts, most likely will be 2 jet skiers per show. These guys will need to be somewhat advanced on skill level, as the show is of the high action type. Skis will probably be stock SJs, so don't plan on having stupid power or the perfect freestyle ski. Pay is decent, more than I ever made doing the same shows while in school. And Orlando is a great place to spend a summer playing all day. I am planning on doing this gig part-time on weekends, assuming I get a job over there by then......which is looking good  Hit me up if you want more info on what these shows are like, or contact WSSI @ 865-453-2158 to get all the important info.

This is a great opportunity for college students, and it sure beats the crap out of working all summer :woot:

I thought you were in Texas?

I am this week, and probably still next week, but maybe not long after that :sneaky:

hrm.. if noone else steps up, or there any open spots, i wouldnt mind trying a show or two witcha.. slutty might wanna see this too!

i'll check the dates when i get back.

Don't know how many part timers they will need, that will depend on how many full timers they can find. If nothing else, you should come check it out anyway......you could be my groupie

so do you get any passes or discounts for guests? I'd hate to drop a B-pipe to watch you ride

If you bring me a b pipe everytime you come, you can come as often as you'd like :Banane01:

But to answer your question, I have no idea. I'll probably be used on an as needed basis so that may cut me out of the loop on the freebies. Maybe some of the other youngin's on here that step up to do this will hooks us old farts up :haha:

wow, that looks so cool. Im a college student, summer starts in a couple weeks. This would be THE BEST summer job. I dont think Im a good enough to be in a ski show though. I would do that in a heart beat too, dont even care about the pay!

Do you have to have experience? I would consider giving it a shot if the skill level is not "too" high. If so can I be your groupie as well? Peace out.

Give them a call, you may be a good fit if your riding is up to speed :cheer:

Tricks needed would be barrel rolls (with only lifter wedges in the tray), stabs, 180 subs, straight subs, etc. along with a good bag of hood tricks to mix it up and keep the flow going. Crowds always seem to love subs and fountains more than anything else :woot: You will most likely be doing fountains on the crowd.......which is good for taking tops off if you know what I mean :sneaky: just watch out for the kids. There will also be a V wake to jump, so maybe a big roll or back flip on that too, but if nothing else you can just air it out on that with a no hander or something.

Not sure of the layout of the show yet, it may be more choreographed with 2 guys working together, or it may be more like a head to head competition where you go back and forth trying to beat the last trick. That will probably depend on the talent available.

It Takes A Pretty Good Rider To Get Upside Down On A Stock Sj In Flatwater I Would Assume. Not Many Flatwater Freestylers In Fl Is There? Yamasaki Used To Do Some Flatwater Though Right? This Would Be A Chance To Expand His Groupies (more Than Just Dan That Is).
