Dap Weldwood, red can. Let it dry to the touch on both surfaces, then put the turf on.

Cut the edges at 45 degrees. This leave less area to tug on water. If you see any areas with small gaps fill in with some regular old elmers, or seal the hole edge if you would like.

The 45 deg trick kept turff on my rails for 2 years and going, I only had to repair one spot with some DAP and elmers to seal the edge

Yep, what they said.

I have seen people lay the turf over the plastic rails....THAT WON'T WORK

Scuff the fiberglass really well with some course sandpaper.....like 60 grit

Wait for the Dap to dry to the touch before applying the surfaces together.

Cut the bottom edge at a 45 degree angle.

Hammer the crap out of it with a rubber mallet.

Like everyone else said......
Once the glue is tacky on BOTH sides, the rail and the turf, bond them together.
You will get ONE shot at this so get Help if you don't think you can do it alone.
Once both surfaces are put together do not try to undo them, only apply pressure.
I did not used a rubber mullet. I used my hands and it's been 3 years and they are still OK.

Good Luck!

- DAP weldwood (red can)
- scuff up bare rail.
- acetone rail.
- goop both sides and spread evenly, let dry so no shine is seen. (dont let dry too long, just so its not shiney but still tacky)
- have a buddy help cuz you got one shot at this. I always use a hair dryer as well to round the front and get the rear curves nice and clean.
- one on, beat the $hit outta it with a rubber mallet.
- let dry overnight just to be safe before riding.

GOOD LUCK.
