turfing rails

I lost my side rail this weekend riding and was thinking of just turfing it over what do you guys do just order a sheet of turf ? any suggestions would help, thanks

yup, just order a sheet from laurel, you'll need the extra later anyways,

Cut the bottom at a 45 and use ca glue on the edges top and bottom. Mine is peeling on top because I didnt glue the top. Also a heat gun works pretty well.

Use contact cement to glue it on and use rubber based black super glue on the bottom to keep it from peeling and use regular clear super glue on the top if you want to keep that from peeling .

You can get the black rubber based stuff at a hobby shop .They use it to glue tires on RC cars :cool2:

Dont fold it around your bumpers... just cut it off at an angle so the water doesn't (catch) it and rip it off.
