I was looking at these on Blowsion's site. Do these help for straight line stability? Or are they just for carving turns?

Errrr......I wouldn't call straight line stability one of the perks of T-2s, LOL.

Helps you carve like mad, helps the front be more buyoant and keeps the nose from diving excessively in the surf

i have surfjetlouies on mine works great , they are great on a x2 cheaper than blowsion

They are great on an X2 and help you carve like mad. They DO NOT help with straight line stability, in fact they may hinder it.

Really? do they kinda pull the ski over to one side or does it feel more squirley? i do like the fact that they help with carving though.

Tom21 is selling a set of hand made sponsons (same as a tubbie) that are custom for the X2. They were specifically made to follow the natural contor of the X2 hull. You might want to send him a PM. The price is pretty fair.

Not more squirrelly. At certain medium speeds, the hull "chine-walks". It wanders from side to side.
