100lbs for the hull. Hull being complete with nose, rideplate, pumpshoe, cooling lines, steering and trim lines, exhaust, scupper, mounting hardware for the stock kawi parts, footholds, foam in the upper only that is also glassed to seal from water, and glue. A complete hull plus add 9 lbs for the hood.
wow, that's great. thanks for clearing that up.

pretty awesome #'s for a Kawi based platform-GOOD JOB!!!

Now if we could just reduce Moondance's mouth by 30% we would be chitting in high cotton!
LMAO

Where have you been? LOL that is the same hull that took the Gnarls barkley lawn dart by Lustic last weekend.

All of these boats are a great bang for the buck... personally I will opt for the XF If I can ever save up the cash... There is nothing sweeter then the EVO pro though. That hull has surely proven itself by now, I would hope. Props to Bobby and Lustic for making all this happen.... Its a new Evolution.

Yea, but seriously... what does a stock roundnose hull weigh without a hood? It can't be more than a sn can it? I glassed in a whole new tray, and added full reinforcement to mine and it came out to 125.

My reinforced RN hull, without hood or anything else, weighs 123lbs.

After riding that ski in Daytona I am sold. You can throw it around like a lightweight Superjet. (and I rode the full length one!) It is probably easier to throw around in the air than a stock SJ hull, but if you want to go for a long ride in chop, just move a foot forward and shift your weight a little and it tears right through it. Truly the best of both worlds.

I have ridden a lot of lightweight flatwater freestyle boats and the problem I have with them is that you can't really still just RIDE them... They are JUST flatwater freestyle boats. I'm not one to promote companies on here, but this hull just blew me away!

Sounds awesome. Is a superjet hull in the works?

He has to finish the hood first :noevil:

The only reason for him to build the Superjet hull is for the Superjet loyalist. Anyone who rides his light weight SXR setup will more then likely want the SXR... I recomend putting a Ported 701 with a pipe in the SXR platform.... Light, nimble, stable, and awsome power+reliabality for the light weight package.... Like DJ said this boat will do it all.

If I could save my $ I was gona build one of these for Surf, and race the same ski in GP class just for fun... that is what I would call a Versatle ski! :Banane36:

not if but when i get the coin i will own exactly that a sxr platform with superjet motor and electrics but it has to have a sxr pump so i am told that is the only thing i aint sold on are kwaka pumps as good as a superjet?

Stock pumps are both close to the same in performance. The Mag 145mm has amazing hookup in Josh's 1000cc. Not sure wich prop he runs though. The SXR platform overall has better hookup then a Superjet, the better hull deighn is what adds the extra bit of bite.

Unless your going huge displacement (850cc+), I would recomend just a TBM pump cone.

what about the new 08 superjets? they are stomping on the sxr's on the race course
I'm working on offering the new 08 for the beginning of the year. Have a handful of guys waiting with deposits ready. Just have to clear the work at hand, if that is possible, as soon as I finish or get close, there is more. Which is great and the way I want it. Just have to keep making head way on the hood and upper. I have a donor lined up for the 08 lower. As far the sj stomping the sxr I have not seen or heard about that, where did you get this info? There aren't too many in the race scene.

MacC raced one at Orange Beach last week and kicked arse. (as did his riders) But he could ride a 550 and still kick arse.
