The Evo ES is our new baseline hull. The layup schedule is done and ready for abuse. The hull build consists of E-glass with s-glass reinforcements strategically placed. The hull is a lower cost with the same attention to detail and process control as the Evo XF and PRO. The EVO ES completes the Evo line of hulls that I have been waiting to offer. The ES is our baseline product, which in comparison to other after market companies is a high end hull for the price. The build starts with epoxy primer opposed to gel coat. Then a engineered blend of e-glass and s-glass is laminated involving a pre-inpregnated process using premium vinyl ester resin. Which the process is not new, and is used in the XF just never talked about until now. This process keeps weight down and strength up, as resin rich layups are inherently brittle. Every hull build that is offered has a detailed documented layup schedule, ensuring consistency to within 3lbs of each hull in its line. Also to control placement of laminate stacking. These hulls are the real deal.
Hull consists of: s-glass/e-glass, vinyl ester resin @ 100lbs. Hull options: full length or -2". Includes: pump shoe, dual cooling. trim tube, scupper, exhuast, all hardware needed to swap stock kawi equipment, nose piece, ride plate, footholds and a carbon/kevlar hood.
Price is $5299.99 This is being offered on the forms first, then updated to the web site soon.

Dumb question, what does a stock SXR hull weigh? I am real aware of what a SJ hull weighs, but never considered what a SXR hull weighs.

Gil, you rode one, what a stocker weighs at this point is moot. This hull weighs in around the weight of most lightweight SJ's.

I for one think a lightweight SXR would be fun as hell and you can do ALOT w/powerplants for SXR's now as well. My only concern would be width and length. I have gotten sooooooo spoiled by the flickability of a SJ and even more so the flickability of the XFT full carbon.

Most lightweight sj's weigh 100lbs?!?!/1/1/1

My square with glass reinforcement weighed 125 without the hood or paint.

Doesn't the XFT hull come in at 65lbs. ??? Granted at 65lbs., u r paying ALOT of $-but-u get what u pay for.

The 5k range of this new Trinity is pretty impressive for the amount of weight savings u get for your money. (and after O.B.-we all now know the strength of Trinity's stuff)LOL

Yea, but seriously... what does a stock roundnose hull weigh without a hood? It can't be more than a sn can it? I glassed in a whole new tray, and added full reinforcement to mine and it came out to 125.

this hull weighs about what a stock SJ hulls weigh, lets not get carried away.

That was my thought-oem SJ hull=approx 100 lbs before any re-inforcing.

New rule-Gil don't help anyone(except Shonuff) beach cart any SXR unless it is the new Trinity hull !!! LOL It's sad but true-if u really want a good comparison of SXR and SJ weight-push em in the sand on a beach cart!!!

It's lighter than a stock SJ, but it's also a much bigger hull so it has more materials in it.

Great price for what I'm sure is a solid hull.

I missed where bobby said it was about 100 lbs. But that is with exhaust tube, scuppers, plumbing, hood, nose piece. I can remember when people first starting buying the newer Wammer hulls, around 2004, they were lightweight hulls, around 90 lbs or so. These superlight weights are really new (past 2 years). but regardless, your taking a 150 lb hull and reducing its weight by about 30%. That is still alot.

I figure the strength before the weight is reduced. Weight loss is the result of material and processes used to obtain the strongest possible product. So if I reduce the weight by a percentage I want to increase the strength by 25% to as much as 80% depending on the model evo compared to stock or other am hulls. There is a lot of thought and running numbers on paper to get what is being built. There are what is called coupons in the industry at labs being tested. Test on laminates and glue for compression, elongation, tensile strength, shear and deflection. The way I afford that is by leading sales reps to companies and projects I know of to help them sell. Its a trade which was presented to me. Two of the reps have tests run for me. Tests on some pretty expensive machines owned by large companies these reps sell for. And it is all appreciated on both sides with all cards on the table. Some of the lab techs are impressed with the ideas and laminate schedules. I've been doing my home work for years with a passion. Long and short, If its not strong you will be throwing all that light weight money in the trash and I won't be associated with that.

is that right bobby? or is it 100 lbs for the bare hull.
100lbs for the hull. Hull being complete with nose, rideplate, pumpshoe, cooling lines, steering and trim lines, exhaust, scupper, mounting hardware for the stock kawi parts, footholds, foam in the upper only that is also glassed to seal from water, and glue. A complete hull plus add 9 lbs for the hood.
