that will be a nice boat , would have been nice to see a few more mods than just a lighter stronger replica of the original, with all that time and money invested why not make your own, not an x2 rep , a boat that has and is known as your boat , if i had that sort of set up ,i would wont all the credit. in stead of everyone looking at it with the x2 name in there head.
A company like yours could be the missing link , not kawasaki or yamaha , your own brand and keep the 2 strokes going, you could clean up , i think anyway,

You can buy his X-2 hull and a donor SXR for cheaper than buying an imported X-2, and it will be lighter and stronger.

Thanks, I really look forward to the day when a ski is designed from the bottom up. I have a strong group of people that could assist a large project like that. That is the long term plan. Right now I want to offer three different skis sxr, x-2, sj. Build them better and let people get to know the work. Bring on workers that I can train, to do the best and care about their work. Right now I'm laying a strong foundation and taking baby steps.

Cool, I was wondering why the inside of the plug was painted black and looked all nice and smooth. Now I am told that it was the mold so it all makes sense.

What was that yellow thing back by the seat you guys removed?

Also how complicated is the bulk head to make?

Your work never fails to amaze me!

Thanks, I don't know what yellow thing your talking about. The bulkhead won't be bad I'll put up pics when that happens. I feel like a bum for sleeping in today, time to go do some work. :bananalama:

I think the yellow thing must have been the water connection?

You think an 1100 ZXi engine would fit in one of those? They fit right in an SXR.
No need imo, to heavy for one thing. Plenty of high power 2 cylinder options already. If and when I build something, it won't be overpowered, just strong reliable power for surf, I think a lot of people go overboard on the power thing.
