We went through he same problem w/ our 650SX, Take the Jet ski out and it's running good, (165#/cyl.). Then the carb sucks water, from too many subs and fountains . We limp the jet ski back to the docks and go through the drill.

- Pull plunger, while turning over motor
- water shoots out 10' high
- dry plugs
- restarts
After I get it back to the garage, check compression, it's down....way down
We have to replace rings to get compression back...!!!
How can we avoid doing a top end rebuild everytime it takes on water?
