got the thing in the air, my pops loves having any excuse to buy things so he picked up a winch with made lifting really easy. i told him we only need rope but he had found this a while ago so he got it.
so i took the bracket off which was glued down with 5200 so that made my life hell. i can see why I'm enforcing the bracket now though, just trying to pry the screwdriver in there was flexing the crap out of it.......
here's a pic of the inside
i cant remove those two nuts and bolts that hold the nose piece on since the nose piece is glassed on smooth so im just going to glass over them...o-well.
here's some pics of where Butch stopped his fiberglass and where ill continue.....
so than i had to dremel out the green glue....pita....that stuff is serious, i got it pretty much gone and its good enough for me
so tonight im gonna pick up some expanding foam and get it crackin:woot:

on the third pic the glass just didnt go around the hull, theres nothing back there so ill fill it with chop and epoxy.

you dont need to glass where the nose piece bolts go trough..just the area where the pole bracket is (and to the sides after filling the voids with foam) and the front of the nose..you need to get in there with the grinder and really clean that all up before you lay any glass down

get a 4" angle grinder..works way better..you have to rough up the entire surface that you plan on glassing..4" grinder works best for big areas

this is all you need to glass
i dont have a pic of the whole pole bracket area that needs to be glassed...both of thse pics are before grinding was compleated so it should be allot cleaner than that

i know geoff is trying to ride but is waiting on a part, dont know what chris's plans are..... im workin on the ski saturday than goin to the hill on sun(mt.high) the shop i work at is throwin a comp,tripple air(three booters, best run wins) so im goin to show support/work/get hammerd..... what about you guys? isnt it supposed to rain anyways?

i might come up there next weekend...have to put my ski back together... haven't ridden with you guys in a while
