yes, I'm buying a couch. sorry, but I'm the only one that rides a standup, so I was going to buy a couch for them. I have a max weight limit for my lift which is 600 lbs, and I can't seem to find it online. does anyone know the wet weight of a daytona 1000? thanks

dont do it... don't buy it, I am the ghost of your future conscience speaking.

They are impossible to work on, oversized with the body style of a future aquatrax hull and parts are not easy to find. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent running seadoo GTX or XP stay away from the yellow motors and 951's for reliability.

how much are you paying?

$1800 bucks. Its in real good shape. Almost perfect condition. There is a arctic cat dealer near my house and they sell parts for it. Comes with beach house sponsons and 2 impellers-one solas and 1 new jet destroyer. I think its a pretty good deal. Plus, he delivering it to my house. is net weight dry or wet? Anyone here ever have one? I've only ever heard good things about them.

how are they impossible to work on? I like working on them. The head and domes are all o-ringed. Also, search ebay... TONS of parts for cheap!

I have to agree. I own a 770 Daytona and its been super reliable, easy to work on and I have never had a hard time finding parts.
And on top of this: The wife loves it.
When she's happy, Im happy!

yes id buy it, i HAD a 97 daytona 1000 and yes becus its a tripple its KINDA pain to work on,buy possible, as far as starter/bendix, i have replace both and had to take off carbs and exhaust thats it undid mount bolts and tilted it and was able to change both,no fuel tank or any thing else. sounds like a good deal, i am getting another 1000 maybe a 1100r, hell mine ran a respectable 63 on gps just about anytime, plus i had a pissed up impeller,,you do what you want, i like beeing the one with the only tshark in group that spanks them!!!

i wouldnt but it
they are a bitch to work on
ive never seen a ts without a oil leak
i wont even allow them to be dropped off for repair anymore
just not worth the hassle
