Techies,

Will changing my impeller make enough of a difference in bottom end gittyup to warrant the $ or could the money be better spent elsewhere? I've got a SN 701 with a Riva pipe and skat trak intake. My low end is in need of help. Where do I start with impellers...the lower the number (as i understand) the better low end performance. Skat Trak, Solas ? I ride flatwater only. I'm all ears and very little...:brap:

get a solas concord 13/17 impeller or skat trak swirl impeller 12/17 from impros.com and it will give you plenty of bottom end.

IN addition to that, get an msd enhancer ignition or get your cdi modded so that you can gain some additional rpms.

Well chit, I wish I knew that before I shelled out $260 for the Solas.

Never tried the Skat, but I have no complaints about my Solas.

I've tried both impellers also and agree with Idok .The Skat performs just a hair better.

The ultimate combo is a TBM cone and Skat Mag impeller .My boat launches out of the hole with that setup
