This one is for you DASA - Lamey

Brian - I didn't mean for my water spots to become a problem....but what can I do about it? I think I can get them off with some car Quick Detailer type stuff. But would an Armor All or silicone product help to keep the spots off?

Haha, just the fact that I worried about water spots and shiny bolts should tell you that 99% of the big problems with this engine/ski are SOLVED. I am way overski-ed and underskilled. I love it. Haha.

Aaron

rinse it, blow it off with the air compression and spray it down with silcone spray.....

another way to get rid of the water spots woudl be to use one of those Mr. Clean car wash systems...the water spots are caused by hard water..

these things have a water softening system and will dry spot free

with my non-ano'd Xscream cyl I rinse it down thoroghly, blow it off then spray it top to bottom with WD40

its only got about 7-8 rides on it (100% salt) and looks the same as in my avatar before it got wet
