Greetings!

Some of you know me from that OTHER site, but I have been getting some comments\questions on a ski I have pictured in my album.

This ski started out as a 1984 JS550. It looked like this when I got it:

And then I did this to it:

I just recently added a custom nose brace and some more turf:

And here's what makes it the fastest\most powerfull: 750cc\dual SBN44\MSD\Coffman's...

yea pretty wild looking,i remember when you did the build thread on it,i was teling some friends about it but never did get to digging up the thread again to show them .

What is the history on the hood/seat kit again.Who built it,how mant were made ect.

I don't really have too much info on them - the build thread has some comments from other members.

I have only seen pics of three others - one in need of restoration, and two that were still 550s.

That's why I claim World's Fastest\most powerfull Typhoon - until someone somewhere disputes it - then we'll have to race for the title!

theres two of those typhoons for sale on craigslist for $2000 with a trailer in really good condition nice paint jobs .i think there in riverside california(inland empire section)

I'd be really curious to see how it does in surf wave jumping. Is it pretty light..... close to a JS550 wgt?

You'll like a st 19 pitch with that combo, my JS550 with 650 swap pushes a st 19 to meet or beat our stock SXR on top end.
