So how's the impeller work with that motor in the X2? I liked it in the SX. The guy I bought the SX from haden't run it for a few years before I bought it if that helps your diagnosis, and it didn't consistently have the sluggish feeling on the bottom, only when it was in a bad mood (a good portion of the time)

I'm not sure about the prop. I think that a new skat swirl would make a big difference. You've got to ride this thing with the 750 in it, it makes a big difference from the bone stock 650. I think that I'll try cleaning the carbs up this week and if that does not fix the problem then I may resort to a pair of carb rebuild kits. . .

Suva are you coming to the Lincoln City freeride?

Took the Snackmachine out today and it ran great. . . Very nice power production out of the 750. I can't wait to get it into the surf. . .

I believe that the last few times we have ridden together the X2 has outperformed the RN. . . and it towed in Phil's ski as well. . .

if its any consolation Snackem my keihins do the same thing on my 750 x2, i havent worried about it and just ride at the moment since once it get the pressure up its fine

Well It's been a LONG time since I've done any work on the X2 but I've started putting together Suva's SX (the donor ski for my 750) and Kara's 'given me the OK' to use all proceeds from the sale on X2 upgrades so I need a little input. What would you spend the money on?

Right now I've got a small pin 750, single keihin 40 carb, tubbies, a 15.5 skat, everything else is stock.

It was raining rather hard last night when I started it so I think it should be good to go.








On a side not if you start your ski inside of a small aluminum tuff shed with the hood and pipe removed please wear ear plugs. But you do get to really savor that brapple smell.

It's got some cat litter on it, five gallons might be a bit of an exaggeration, a gallon or two maybe. . .
