My X2 can finally begin to live up to it's potential. I talked to Luke (Suva) and I'm going to pick up his 750:biggthumpup: SX on Thursday or Friday:woot: and trade engines with my X2. The build will take some time as I'm going to college as well but here's my plan so far.

750 :woot:
Dakine Footstraps
Dual 500 Bilges
Matt_E's Signature Freestyle Porting
Milled heads to run pump gas
New pipe (maybe a B-pipe :sneaky: )
Lanyard
Shortened hull
tubbies (II's)
UMI steering with tall bars
Turf the seat and give it a custom paint job
Scuppers

I also plan on putting in a new pump and carb. What do you guys suggest as far as a prop and carb? I have heard that a 9/17 is good and I am assuming that as far as carbs go either a 48 or dual 44's? Give me suggestions.

There may be more that I'm forgetting. I may mod my hull in the fashion of the famous "Crab boat" once I see how it handles.

I'll post pics as soon as I pick up the ski from Luke.

Edit:
A few more mods that are planned include:
removing the "hump" in the middle of the hood.
Filling in the gas fill door
Rerouting the air intake.

Looks like your motor will be ready before mine. I just want mine running for Longbeach, my old motor will do.

No I can't pick it up until like 5:00 and I don't think that gives me enough time to get back, besides I didn't talk tell Luke that I was going to stop by and pick it up. I'm probably going to get it tomorrow morning and then bring it back to my garage. It'll get over to your place first early next week and then we can begin the brapectomy.

I'm thinkin' that we may have to ride next weekend before we perform the brapectomy??? May as well get the ski's wet before we tear em apart, eh?

I went and got the ski today. I'll get some pics of the engine and both ski's on Monday/Tuesday. The 750 currently has dual carbs. Not exactly sure the size as I didn't have much time to look at it today before the wife was getting anxious to leave for the weekend trip.

Pics and more info to come Monday.

Brapectomy scheduled for one week from tomorrow :woot::woot::woot:

Good work guys that X2 will perform much better Suvas 750 seemed quite peppy LOL Anyway wish i could get something done on mine!! Too busy with some other stuff. Damn cars LOL why do I keep working on other peoples stuff while mine sits there??????????
