i pulled them out. they were clean

are you shure you are not seazing it, I had an issue like that when I got my first ski, it would run really well, then start to bog down untill it stopped, after cooling off it would be fine again....turns out it was siezing.....

def. check the check valve too....

FECK.... maybe that is my entire issue. I wonder how i will get the stripped screw out :(

If it makes you feel any better, whoever stripped those screws is just one in a loooooong list of people who've stripped those screws. :cheer2:

I did not even think this at all.. but I did take the pistons out and put them back in. I just hope internally it is all correct. I plan to try and get the carbs apart tonight

I hope my issue is just old fuel gunk in there.

me too, try a screw extractor, good luck, try your compression gauage on another ski if you can just to make sure it is good, check thru your intake to see that all is well

check your fuel lines, if they are getting air the ski will run good for a minute and then die. What kind of filter are you running? Saw one recently that was not OEM, it was paper and would suck down and make the ski run bad.

Me too...you can drill them out..thats what I did..find a bit that is about the same size as the shaft of the screw.....drilldown the middle..and the head will pop off...then you can pull off that plate....once that's off..you can grab the shaft with needle nose vice grips....i was told those screws go in at a slight angle....thats why they are a pain to get out..they get pinched in there....plus they are real soft metal...very easy to strip..hope that helps.
