Well, a few of the Oceanside Boys decided to get out of Oceanside for a weekend, and headed up to Ventura. Ross (Ross_C), P-Dawg (BlowStuffUp), Derek (waveblaster069) and myself met up with Eddie (LBE) and Mike, (Mike Serlin) in the Long Beach area and cruised up the coast.
The process of getting skis to the water was no easy task, and getting them back on the trailer was even tougher.
The best part of the trip was the crowd. The surf is completely visible from the road which winds along an 8-10 ft. bluff above the beach. SO many people stopped their cars along side the road and got out to watch, quite of few of them were taking pictures too. At the end of the day, I was pretty tired, and ready to head home. But every time I turned around and saw a crowd of complete strangers, gathering around and taking pictures, I convinced myself I had enough energy for one more barrel roll.
We got some video, and still pictures. Unfortunately, this video is the first bit of film you guys won't get too see, because it's going to get stashed away for the DVD.
You can see all of the pictures from the trip over at my gallery. I haven't had a chance to weed out all the bad/blurry pictures. So there are about 380 pictures.

The Hill was seriously steeper than it looks here.
Rocks on the beach pretty much means rocks in the water. There were.
I totally bit this trick from Yamaslut.
