So I had some major issues with my ski this weekend at pismo. Just one think after another. Then that weird crap in the middle of the night that ended it all. Well here it is. Looks like my starter isnt what caused all that smoke. This came just hours after buying and installing my MSD cdi too.

Dead short for sure. One of your hot leads must have gotten pinched and grounded out on the start solenoid ( just a guess ). Your lucky you have a ski at all . Sorry for your trouble thanks for the post . Give JSS a call looks like your getting a new e system .

Ya it was a rough weekend for my ski to say the least.
I did ride the hull. If you ask because of my build I love it. There is definitly some fine tuning and adjustments to be made but so far I like the direction its going. I got lots of good feedback from all the people that also tried it out.
I will actually be rebuilding the ebox myself, and making a few changes where I see fit. When I opened it there was a bit of water in it.
