Just plain me....
Yur what? I had the pleasure of sitting next to this lady that was weezing and hacking the whole trip back from Houston.:smashfreakB:
Oust....it's a spray like lysol, but much better at killing germs & it doesn't stink link lysol. Girls at my office laugh because I'm always spraying. But I work with too many people who have germ factories at home. They get sick...I don't.

Wow guys…sry 2 hear!! I’m constantly in/out of healthcare facilities due to my grandmother’s needs, so I learn (and catch) more than most these days. There were a variety of nasty upper respiratory (bacterial, along with a few viral…just have to sweat the virals out ya know) infections going around down here during the 4th qtr of 2007, and then they started back up with everyone again toward the end. I personally was down on the couch non-stop almost directly after WaveDaze (Oct 20 actually) clear through to two days b4 Christmas!!! It was brutal (prob why I partied hardy myself…was SO OVER being cooped up). Anyway, most peps down here were taking a minimum of three weeks to get better. I think I just caught two things back to back myself, or had mono actually. Hope everyone gets to feeling better…for that was wicked!

That Jacuzzi was fine, the clorine level could kill you just walking by.

Ironic you mentioned that. I had to wash all of my clothes, even ones that I didn't wear when I got home because they stunk like mold. And I never took them out of my duffle while I was there. My feet got nastier from walking on the carpet in the room than they did walking barefooted on the pavement or beach.

What floor? I walked on the sand in bare feet all weekend to the point that my skin was literally flaking off.

as soon as we opened the door the wife took out every perfume bottle she could find, and even that didn't kill the odor

hey pete how much was it a night at the coral....I heard it was kinda expensive

49.... :icon16:

I think when you book like 3-4 nights or more its cheaper.
It is alot nicer than the Makai. Last 4 years I stayed at Makai
and the last year the ceiling started falling in on us... so I booked
next door.

Weird I got sick as ******** too. Started with throat/respiratory stuff Tues and Wednesday and then had a fever Thurs and Fri. And yeah the Makai room was as disgusting as always but still a good time.

It is what it is. Who else is going to let a bunch of crazy-assed jetskiers invade for the weekend + :bananajump:

The place I stayed is willing to, plus offer discounts. Many peps stopped by and said they intend to stay there next year, so I just contacted them and got a tentative group discount if there is an interest, and Nick is cool with it. It's the nicest hotel on the strip (day spa for the ladies), about three miles south of The Makkai.

http://www.plazaresortandspa.com/

Rooms are normally $179.00, but they are willing to do $145.00 from the 3rd-20th to assist in varying travel plans. It sounds like a lot, but if you have an ocean view dble queen (four peps), it breaks down to around $35/nite. I was also able to pull my huge trailer with skis into their back parking lot which is lit and secluded off from the beach.

Just throwing this out there since everyone is complaining. :grouphug: (it's not set up via contract yet, since it isn't my place to do so, fyi)

you should try having allergies and living here. I feel like you guys do 24-7 x 365. friggen sucks. aachhooooo! cough cough.

Tom21... I HAD allergies too, that started when I was about 30. It was unbelievable how many things I tested positive for (allergies that is). I would be sneezing like a madman during the spring and fall. I could tell when the pollen was about to spew all over the place about 2 weeks before hand.
Then I went through 2 years of allergy shots (supposed to be 3). It was a PITA but I feel great now!
Worked great for me.

I am convinced the Makai is nasty as hell. I bet if we took a black light in there we would all puke. We were probably all covered in micromonsters while we slept!
