put in a scupper...cleans it out every ride

I was kind of hoping to use the parts to put the ski back together. =\

Throw a huge barrell roll. Halfway through it, pull of your hood, hold that with one hand, use the other hand to catch whatever falls out. Should be super simple, especially if you have foot holds. :barrel:

can this be done with lifter wedges

I knew you were trying to sell me stuff. That carb spring was like the 1st freebie from a crack dealer. I know your operation! =)

It's not in there dammit! I took EVERYTHING out (for other reasons) and it
JUST......WASN'T.......THERE!

IMHO my ski is something from a Stephen King novel(From a Buick 8).

That nut and most of my money is sitting in a field in some weird other dimension.

Like someone said here before,, "It's like the sock thingy" Makes no sence and the harder you try to analize the deal, It just make's it harder on yourself.. Like trying to find the GF"s or Wifey's Car Key's in the Morning....

The best thing to do is by a junk ski and take it apart and put all the nuts, bolts and washers in a box. When you loose one, you go to your box of spare bolts. What you don't want to do is go to the dealer a buy a 10mm bolt from him. You will have to bend over. Stainless steel metrix bolts are very expensive if you have to buy them. Any junk ski will work of the same manufactuer. Sell the other parts to get your money back on the ski. This has saved me lots of time. I don't know many times I need a washer and can pull one out of the box. I see ski's that have blown motors and the owner just wants some one to haul them off. Stainless steel hard ware doesn't rot so who cares if it comes off a 17 year old ski.

If it's a superjet, I'm pretty sure under the bed plate is a space/time vortex.

I'd leave it alone.

Kev, are you guys hiring? I desperately need to retire like you did. You are almost my retirement hero. :trink26:

I have been officially retired for a month or so....Still run a boat around now and then to help my little brother out but other than that I'm working on trying to find a web business that I can get "into" if you know what I mean......I turn 49 next week...
Still selling my ski and a few pocket rockets..
My Mom and sister are relocating near Houston from Riverside, Cali and I'll be heading that way..My Sis raises Horses, which we grew up doing and asked how I felt about giving her a hand..
What the hell, I'm a pro at shoveling doodee.

I have a good one... negative terminal came loose on my X2 on the last ride. Good thing I never shut it off or I would have been swimming. It wouldn't start when I took it out of the lake to blow the water out of it. I got lucky and found the little battery terminal nut. The battery bolt was still in the negative cable end. I guess X2's don't have this portal to the dark side you guys speak of? lol
