SXR Sxr overheating - shuttering - seizuring

Hi Does anyone know or have had the same problem ,
i have a 2009 SXR and i have had problems when i give it a good working that it seems like it is overheating and basically shuts down and when i try to take off again it shutters, and won't go until it cools down then it goes fine again ,
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED ,

need more info. tell us as much about your ski as possible. is your pisser working? blocked cooling line?

Sounds like blocked cooling line to me too...

2009 SXR , seems like not a lot of water is coming out of the pisser on the side ,when it gets hot it is going into limp mode ,its fairly new only 30 or so hours on it , spoke to the guy at a ski shop today said its more likey to be a blocked cooling line , so i am going to try that first , second could be a faulty temp sensor, basically what you guys have said ,
the river where i ride has a bit of leaves and every now and then so i am guessing something has been sucked up , will let you know how the flush goes ,

I had mine do the same thing, it ran too hot since the water that came out of the pisser was burning my hands.. I have a r&d head and FPdry. Im doing a double cooling on mine so i don't think it'll bog down and die anymore.

Remember that a 2 stroke engine isn't meant to be ridden at full throttle for a long period of time!!

when you add a pipe you have to change out the fitting at the pump? It is restricted from the factory. Did you remember to swap this. I forgot the first time I put a pipe on my SXR. It ran ok, but It was hot.
