Well the pipe is getting way too hot. And I'm scared I am damaging the motor with all the test runs and it getting too hot.

Take it to someone that is experienced in setting up skis the way you want yours set up. I took my superjet to Bad Boys Racing. He set up my ski exactly as asked and had it back to me in like 3 days. It's more expensive than doing it yourself, but these are people with extensive experience. They already have a recipe for tuning the carbs, running the cooling, etc. They follow the recipe and make slight changes during the water test.

Bite the bullet on a tune before you bite the bullet on a motor and a tune. Once it's all setup perfect, you can maintain it yourself. It's a lot easier to rebuild carbs and put them back the way they were than it is to tune them.

I'd take the jet out. check my head pipe with a garden hose make sure it is flowing. close your middle and bottom screws. open your top screw two complete turns, that's completely open. I run a wet pipe, tbm flywheel, skat 13/18 tbm stuffer, tbm intake grate, prok filters and timing advance jumper. I did drill/tap the pump so it's 3/8 pipe and 1/2 hose. that's on the wife's sxr.

Only jet I run on hers is the one that came on the chamber from factorypipe.

It has single cooling line only

Sounds good thank you. That will be the next test.
