SXR exhaust goo

Gentlemen,

My 06 SXR that I run 40:1 premix on likes to puke dark/black water out of the exhaust when I am clearing the system after I pull it out of the water. 100% stock ski...

I run amsoil interceptor, again at forty to one ratio...

I pull the ski out at the landing then start it to clear it out and even a good twenty to thirty seconds out of the water there will be black water coming out of the exhaust.

Any insight appreciated.

Stock it says 60:1 so 40:1 is alot of oiol for a stock ski, I have a pipe and head on mine and i run it 50:1 and i dont have that exhaust mess comming out the back end, try to run less oil, you ownt hurt it it calls for 60:1 anywyas.

I think the 40:1 is just supposed to be for the break in period than run no more than 50:1 and no less than 60:1

I run 50:1 in my mostly stock 05 SXR with amsoil dominator, no black water from me. my book didnt say anything about 40:1 or 60:1, but the sticker next to the fuel cap when I got it said 50:1, so that what I've always run

Yeah I know it is supposed to be 60:1 but I have two other skis I run at 40:1 and with 93 octane gas so its easier to keep them all the same.... If it continues though I might tone it down a bit.

Actually it might be the worst when its been idling for awhile, and thats exactly what it was doing yesterday...so Ill be riding it hard this weekend and see if there is still a problem.
