SXR Billet Hood Hooks Cracking?

What are the best hood hooks for someone who is trying to learn to roll their ski? I broke one side of the billet hooks after one season with the stock hood.

yea I broke my blowsion ones after a failed nosestab last year but the replaced so its all good in my book and I'll just keep using them if they will keep replacing them:biggthumpup:

Thats good to know! I'm calling them later today, cause I need to order some parts anyhow. I have heard that the TBM ones are wider, and may be stronger. I may have cracked them doing 180 nose stabs, but I figured the failed BR were more of an issue.

let me know how the blowsion oneswork, i am still running the stockers, but i do have hood straps now which makes me feel alittle safer.

I came down from a stab under rotated stab ( I was working on slowing them down ) and heard rattling, beached it took the hood off and found my hook snapped in half. oh well again, big props for blowsion for the replacement, no hassle at all:biggthumpup:

I think I am going to ditch the hood hooks and latches alltogether and just use my ratchet straps. My hood aint going ANYWHERE with them on there.

EME uses just one bungee with a lifejacket clip holding his SXR type hood on. No hood hooks or latches at all.

It depends on the ski he is using. He used the Korn ratchet style on his new boat and said that he prefers it. Then again he isn't landing upside down in the surf from not knowing what he is doing like I am! lol

I like mine alot...I don't think I need the latches or hooks anymore.
