Here's a couple of vids from Glenwood Springs, Colorado. On the western side of town, they've build a whitewater "Wave" park on the Colorado River.

Might have to try and ride this.

I got to ride a standing wave for just a few minutes in Canada last November, and have been itiching to get back in a river ever since. It and the rapids, (for the short time I had in them) was a blast!!!

Glenwood Springs is one off the best places on co imo its a beautiful town.
that looks sick, that town has grown a lot since the last time i was there.

There is a dam by me that gets released twice a year for a weekend in November & March. Kayakers come from everywhere to ride it. There are tons of standing waves that they surf. It is so tempting to ride it but I think they would be pretty upset.
