I apologize for the cancellation; made the race date months ago, and schedule conflicts (other watercraft events that weekend and in the adjacent weekends) looked like they were going to hurt the turnout badly. We only had one reservation at the hotel and only one registered to race with Mike.
I hope we have a good race @ Orange Beach on Aug 11/12! I'm gonna do my best to make it fun.
Nobody needs the expense of putting on a race with a ****ty turnout, or the image that that would give the sport/promoters/hosts. A lot of fixed expenses (rescue fire, paramedic, insurance, etc.) that won't get covered with a small turnout.
How about a poll for next year's date?
