just blew up my 701 61x with 46mm carb at Daytona trying to figure out what I should go with next I was thinking a stock bore ported 701 let me know what u guys think my best route is

83mm would be better with a port job. 61X ported motors really wake up at this bore size.Bore it to a 760

More reliable than punched out to a 760. The bore to that size leaves you paper thin.Reliability?

This is a nasty lil motor. Would definitely send you in the surf.$4200 for the short block or $5k for the long block with full spec 49's. Motor has pump and race gas domes and specs.
