It rides different. It really does not feel shortened until you hold WOT and try to keep it tracking straight. Then it feels loose in the rear and wants to tip to either side. It feels lighter and more ridgid than a OEM reinforced hull. I think that has allot to do with the new handlepole, but the hull itself feel stiff. The engine rips and has very predictable power. Superjett always does a nice job tuning motors :beerchug:
I like the side exhaust! It does seem quiet to me, but I running a Power Factor pipe :haha: It looks like it rolls nice. I watched Superjett and Squid roll it and it seemed like the rear end came around faster than they were expecting. I talked to squid about it and he was saying that it may take some getting used to because it just has a different feel to it.
The nose will rise faster than a superjet hull if you let up on the throttle, but once you hit the gas it will plane out like a normal SJ. However, b/c it is lighter it feels like it rides up on top of the water as opposed to digging down in the water. Just different all around. Fun ski
