Superjet randomly wouldn't run

Hey guys, just bought a 97 superjet with non original 701

Had it out twice so far and it ran great, towed it out to where I ride with my seafood rx (I put shut off valve on water intake to tow)

Both times it never missed a beat, so I was messing around with the ski and wanted to check with way fuel selector was on/reserve/off

Took off line going into filter and both lines going into pick ups and lightly blew through them to see which was which, keep in mind first time I ever put ski in reserve(even for a second)

Previous owner said something was up with the one way valve that it would act like it was out of fuel, said if I took blue line off so tank could breathe then primed it a lot it would be good to go

Anyone think this is just a one way or is it something I messed with causing a blockage from gunk being moved on reserve?

Also I can blow through the one way but I can suck (yes I know) a slight amount of air, very slight to the point where I can barely feel it, should one way be completely sealed or should I be able to get a little tiny bit of air through?

Also short hose beneath one way was very very soft, possibly collapsing?

Oh and the water separator is still on the ski, my blaster I disconnected that and just have the one way hanging off the tank

Pretty sure I could blow through the separator though

But previous owner said there's definitely something with the vent system because it would randomly run like its out of fuel once in a while
(Exactly what it did to me, stalled out like out of fuel)

For anyone wondering or having the same problem, one way fixed it

Got one from a Kawasaki

The bad one I could blow through one way but the other way was so slight that you had to feel it with your tongue

Put pressure in tank and was slightly leaking at 1psi, wouldnt hold 5psi for more than a few seconds

I used a homemade pop off tester with a bike pump and put air into tank through return fitting, heard it right away after first pump

D-Roc

I forgot!
I also fought a intermittent one way tank vent. Stupid little part that caused me a huge headache this season. My other ski also had a bad one but different symptoms. Fixed both skis with new oem Yamaha ones and my skis are both ripping again. I think our crappy fuel is making the go bad. I was also using aftermarket ones.
