The nut size is 13/16, So you'd be looking for a 13/16 spark plug socket, Amazon or eBay should work
Thank you for the information and thank you for the heads up about the ES plugsStock plugs are b7hs. Most aftermarket heads run br8es. Do not run ES plugs in a stock head. It'll go very bad for you.
If you don't have any spark plug wrenches, buy a 3 pack with all 3 sizes. You only need the biggest but unless you are very limited on space then it's just a few bucks more for a set. Tons of retailers sell such things. harbor freight sells anything you need cheap but with shipping costs and whatnot id try to buy good quality tools like craftsman or maybe a professional brand.
I was told you can run es plugs on a stock head since the head is thicker and it wouldn't hit. Oh boy :/Stock plugs are b7hs. Most aftermarket heads run br8es. Do not run ES plugs in a stock head. It'll go very bad for you.

Is there a benefit of running ES over regular spark plugs? They won't hit the piston. I've seen it a million times.
Oh okayNo. Just people put the wrong ones in often.
Some one else posted that it would damage the pistonjust losing some spark efficiency
You do have a pointI've pulled apart couches with long shank plugs that have been ran like that for a long time with no issues.
If it was long enough to hit the piston, don't you think it would close the gap on the plug and shut the motor off?
