I have a 1990 SN SJ all stock it's a 701 w/62t case ,62t cylinder ,dual 38s ,stock pipe
Riding in salt water ,had ebox opened, overheat sensor not hooked up, but everything else looks fine.Stock cdi . I'm getting what feels like high voltage discharges ,no little tingle zap! comming up thru my billet aluminum throttle lever I have stock fiberglass pole ,so it must be using the throttle cable. Or ,if start stop switch can produce that much voltage ,but it feels like grabbing a firing spark plug , voltage hits hard halfway up my arm ,sometimes not always, very random ,hits bad when ski come out of water even for a second? Grounds cleaned tight, start stop switch apart looks fine, just cutback plug ends, disconnected bilge pump wires from battery ,still hits ? Any common areas to start looking or if anyone had similar problem,Please let me know .
