Super Jet Superjet best prop

Soo I have been playing about with some mods on my SJ aver the last few moths! I have modded it from standard with:
pro tec pipe
porting
filters
modified water box
Lightweight RAD flywheel
thats the engine/performance mods nothing great but its a slow process.
anyway problem I now seem to get is when I'm messing about in the surf and jumping when I nail the power I struggle to keep hooked up I cavitate a bit too much and loose drive I don't think I'm running the correct prop, what is the best one to use? I also think I should get more low end hit than I do.
I really just want low end punch I'm not fussed on top end as I don't really use it.
im currently running a 12-21 skat trak?

There isn't such a thing as a best prop, there are too many variables to consider I would suggest starting with a large hub skat around the 13/17 mamark cavitation can also be caused by poor scoop/pump/pump seal assembly as well as excessive wear in the wearring

interstingly you don't mention what pump you are running, assume stock ? What condition is that in ?

Right I am using a stock pump, my wearing is in reasonable condition it's pretty good, I'm using a protec scoop grate aswell.
I do want to move onto a large hub like on of the TBM's but won't be able to do that just yet am I ok to use a large hub impellor without the cone until I get the cone?

Cheers

Man I know everyone has a opinion but I can't imagine anyone not friggin love love loving a Solas 13/16-3mm cutback small hub prop! It still tries to yank out of my arms after 4 seasons on it! 12/21 sounds odd to me???

I think if I brought a new one I would go for the larger hub as I'm told there better for staying hooked in the surf and I'm mainly in chop so staying hooked is a good thing!
What is the main idea of the setback tho???
and my 12-21 is odd in what way???
cheers

Setback (prop) means the back has been machined away to get the prop blades closer to the static veins of the pump = better hook up as long as motor is strong enough to spin it up

12/21 is odd because numbers arent generally that far apart EG 12/17 - 13/17 - 13/18 and so on

Ok I don't no how much power you need to spin it up if its been cut back but I assume mine has, or at least I'd like to hope it has lol I guess this can be done to any prop then can it not?
In an ideal world would the prop want to be as close to the veins as possiblelike literally touching? Or is there a too close point?
Im 99% sure that's what mine is they do sound a bit far apart if I am correct tho what will this type of prop give me? How will it drive? I will get it out and have a proper look tho.
