Nice pic!

lf you are going to do it yourself, one tip l can give you is make templates first! Go down to any bulk fabric store and get some pattern material.Kind of a cross between paper and cloth with 1" square lines.lt will save you a lot of time and mistakes.

Also,do you think you can get the old turf off without destroying it? Multi tool works great for doing this and then you have a pattern.

hhh
i make templates with blue painters tape and just place on wax paper after ive trimmed it and pulled it off in one piece.
i havent tried it with turf but it works great for glass cuts

James put down 25mm top and bottom of the good black under layment and hang it 25mm min of the back edge of the footwell wings for the kinda footholds you don't take home to Mother .

Can you put this in dummy talk for me
I have the thick 1" grey padding and just picked up some contact cement (hopefully better than the last stuff I had)
my first attempt i put the padding all the way under the hold which left no room for my foot, second attempt was a little better but more off the same

Maybe these pics will help you to understand what Berky was saying.Padding on top, padding on bottom.Cut and sculpt the pieces to fit the top inside and the top of the hold.Make them larger so you will get an over hang of about an inch or so.Glue top and bottom to the foothold and then squeeze together the two pieces.Sand down and shape! Ready for template and turf!

As you can tell l am a padding freak. Now get busy and get the job done!

The gray stuff will go flat the first time the ski sees the surf if your "going Big",, use the 1" black underlayment and stick it 1" past the top wing on the foot hold , Use it on the whole tray for surf riding or in the foot well area only to save weight for freestyle .

Don that looks tits. you are the Man at doing clean work !

I ordered from Blowsion and they sent the grey (figures.. I shouldn't have ordered from them in the first place)

ill try hydro turf direct
