super jet cavitation question

When I jump and land it cavitates very bad, and when it does that I just fall over. Also sometimes when approaching a small wave and I hit it to jump it cavitates. I have to throttle it just right for it not to do this. I can mash the throttle while just riding around or from very slow speeds and it takes off great with zero cavitating. Only seems to happen when either trying to hop it, jump it or landing. Is this normal. Looks like I have a stock prop but cant really tell. Is this a prop or a liner problem, or maybe both. Thanks for any help.

Mine was cavitating at high speeds really bad and I was told it was the impeller got the new impeller in and haven't tried it yet so that could be your problem as well what year is it

the rubber seal that goes between the pump and pump shoe could be worn out and sucking air right there.

Stock props and intake grates are junk. Replace them ASAP. That is the first mod I would do to any ski.....maybe aftermarket steering setup too.

BK is right though. It could also be the rubber seal but I would get rid of the stock junk prop.

As written above, the stock aluminum props are garbage, but most likely problem is leaking pump to shoe seal.
