When my ski is off or idling with me in the tray it tilts to the right, is this normal? it kinda sits a bit to the right aswell. I assumed it is because maybe theres water in the exhaust?

Water in the exhaust pipe on the lower right side or in the hull/foam or a combo of both.

Mine sits about .5" lower on the right too (if you are looking at it from the back).

Mine has a sweet gangster lean. Its normal man, don't worry about it unless your right rail is underwater.

A little wet foam never hurt anyone either.

As long as it rides well, forget about wet foam and lean. That is what winter is for, teardown season, unless you're in the south, than tear it down in the summer.

should be all-right then :Banane01:

id love to add footholds myself but dont have the balls to cut into my SJ....

be to afraid to fook it up.

I also had a tough time cutting my SJ. At the time it was brand new and my wife was pissed that I was cutting my ski before I had even put time on it. I also had never worked with glass.

Just cut it and put the footholds in. Take your time, It was not hard at all to do. Just look at other threads on how they are installed and aks questions when needed.

If you do put in a set of footholds....prep the area that will get glass very very well. Sand the crap out of every place that the cloth will touch with 80 grit or 100. That will ensure good adhesion.

The second thing is use a good epoxy resin. Don't use polyester that you would get at the hardware store or surf shop. You can get good and (relativley) inexpensive epoxy resin from an autobody supplier or a fiberglass shop, or pay more for West Systems at West Marine.

If you do that you won't have any issues....

Yea...I am sure both are. I would give Blowsion a call if you have any questions they will sort you out on the phone or PM me. Good luck with the project. The biggest pain in the ass with doing all of this is that you will probably want to re-turf at the same time and the OEM stuff can be a pain to get off.
