O.K. I know this is info Ive seen a thousand times but now that I need it I cant find it:rolleyes: . I need instructions on how to turf the footholds with footprints. Ive got the padding and and turf. do I lay a layer a of padding all the way into the holds then cut a piece that contours the shape of the print and turf? Do I cut the footprint out of the sides of the padding? This would not leave any padding in the footholds but allow for more room. Or should I run one layer into the holds and then run a second layer with the prints cut out? This would have two layers of padding in the tray but one in the holds. Maybe Ive seen it done all three ways? Which works the best? Which looks the best? Any links to threads would be good.

you take a 1" strip of underpadding and outline the tray side of your shoes, you glue these to the underpadding that you layed to the hull...........

or, you can run a full layer of turf on the bottom, then run a second layer and cut out where your shoes will be....

BK's got some good ideas ^^. I ran the 25mm padding and there was no way that would work in the footwells. I cut it into a goofy hourglass shape and stuck 8mm padding in my footwells and sanded a contour into the 25mm. I didn't really shape it to my foot - just left room to manuever my feet in the footwells. The middle section looks wet because of the contact cement.
