Hey SJ Brit, when I went to look at buying my SJ (earlier this year) I noticed some chips outta the stock sqaure flimsy gas cap cover piece thing, I asked him what it was, he said a mouse tried to chew through it to get inside the hull. Past that, I havent found anything but zipties and washers, but in my boat bilge... thats a different story, dead squirrels (after winter), some VERY rank bait, and once even a pair of short shorts, but Im pretty sure it was a joke.
When I got my current ski, I decided to replace all the engine mounts and pull the motor just to give everything a good look over. I found a small snap-on ratchet and an extenstion with a 10mm socket on it. It must have been there for a while, as it was a little rusty and left a rusty mark where it was sitting in that little groove at the back of the ski near the sides!
I soaked it all in some penetrene for a week, and now I have a free ratchet, extension and 10mm socket...shibby!
