Finally got a breather for an hour or two from work. Here are a couple of update photos and a couple of shots from work....

(NOTE): IF YOU ORDER THE XFT HOLDS GET THEM WITH NO FOAM INSTALLED...

I used microbeads mixxed with resin to get everything smoothed out, then a few layers of glass and we are one step closer.

Same day different job.

How many layers should I put across the bottom of the tray? Has anyone else used the microbeads? They work fantastic!

i would love to be doing those mods to a newy
personally i like the xft foot holds that i have ridden in but if it where my ski i would take a razor to the bottom of them so if you stand one foot forward you can put you back toes under them if that makes sence

Its an 08,the other hole is the visibility spout. That where it is on the new ones.

No problem... I is dun B ejumacated and unrsd it jst fine...

Got the second layer of glass laid down. I had some stress cracks on the side of the ski in the corner by the seal, and the dealership told me that would cover it under warranty. They told me they would pay for me to remove and install the motor, cover the labor and materials to fix it as long as I didnt go over $700.00

I am so stoked!

As you can see my shop looks like it has had a bomb blow up in it... I might clean it one of these days.

When it comes to the glue line, do I need to grind out as much as possible? The hull on the 08 matches up alot better to the top section than on the earlier models.
I was going to use microfill to fill it in, and then start glassing it tomorrow.
